The story so far

This journey started in my small hometown of Westwood, CA. For an extrovert, 1,300 people did not cut it, I felt as if I was suffocating, I needed more people and activities. The silver lining was I found a passion of mine that I could not explain, but I was the only person in my family who loved doing accounting and bookkeeping work at my parents hardware store. I quickly picked up QuickBooks with my mom's help, and at the age of 14 or 15 started to do payroll, reconciliations, and sending out statements.

I went to Biola University and three and a half years later graduated with a Bachelors in Accounting and a minor in Theological Studies. Fast forward and I got a job at a church in San Luis Obispo in which I became the financial assistant. A year later I had started a house church with a couple of friends and I was the account manager for the small non-profit. As I look back the journey has not been easy and it has been full of ups and downs, but each of those peaks and valleys contain experiences that propelled me forward into eventually starting my own bookkeeping business. I look forward to taking this voyage even further and experiencing the highs and lows that push each of us out of our comfort zone, this is where growth and understanding comes in.
